Getting to grips with the basics of Microsoft Excel will help you work more confidently and efficiently with Microsoft Excel, from basic formulae and chart creation, to sorting data, filtering data and linking worksheets
By the end of this course you will:
- Know quick methods of navigation and data entry
- Be able to use the fill handle and create custom lists
- Understand how to construct and display formulae
- Know how to attach notes to a spreadsheet using the comments feature
- Be able to use the chart wizard to represent your data graphically in your spreadsheet
- Know how to simultaneously create, format and link multiple worksheets within the workbook
- Understand how to open and navigate multiple files and dynamically link them to produce a consolidation workbook
- Know how to sort and filter data
- Be familiar with applying page breaks and print settings
